Systematic service guide

The following 8 steps explain how to use our service, if you have not used Systematic before, we can still help you immediately if you follow these steps...

Step 1 – Prepare your information

Note the dimensions, weight and value of your pallet in order to calculate your transport cost. Our service caters for any oversize pallets, and single lifts up to a maximum of 2,000 kilos. Our insurance covers any amount you require, although we offer 2 standard options of £1.30 per kilo and £5.00 per kilo cover. You will also need the destination postcode or International area code of where your consignment is going to ensure an accurate cost calculation.

Step 2 – Choose your service level

Choose the service level that you require for your delivery, you can choose between Nextday (24hour), Express (48 hour) and Economy. Economy transit times vary according to the destination country or relevant zone. Step 3 – Calculate cost and payment

You can now calculate the consignment cost on your rate card, or use our Fast Quote service to obtain the transport cost for your consignment. If you have a credit account, we will forward an invoice within 7 days, under our standard credit terms. New customers can obtain express credit approval by using our Fast Track service, or you can make the payment through our secure Fast Pay service.

Step 4 – Book your consignment

Book your consignment online through our Fast Lane service, or regular customers will receive a user ID, password and system guide to access our comprehensive online booking service. Our booking services are easy to use, with additional advantages in terms of managing, tracking and obtaining POD information for your consignments.

Step 5 – Prepare your consignment

Please check that your products have been suitably packed for transportation, we offer free advise if you need any help. Our fully trained staff will also check your consignment, adding any necessary packaging, banding, shrink wrap, security tape, handling labels and pallet caps. These services are free of charge to all our customers, who are also eligible to receive free packing kits. A unique bar code pallet label will be produced for each pallet, and for regular service users, we can install a free thermal printer, so you can print your own unique bar code labels.

Step 6 – Systematic collect and deliver

Systematic can collect your consignment the same day, and will deliver your pallets according to the service level you have requested. You can also track our vehicle online using our Live GPS vehicle tracking system, so you know exactly when our vehicle is going to arrive with you. All our vehicles are equipped with tail lift facilities for up to 1,500 kilos per lift, so if you don’t have loading or unloading facilities, we can take care of it for you.

Step 7 – Track & trace your consignment

Once you have received your customer user ID and password, you can track and trace your consignment online, you can even see photos of your pallet at key stages of its journey. The track and trace system enables you to check where your consignment is at any given time, in real time information, giving you the ability to advise your customer of all transit progress, with out having to call them back every 5 minutes.

Step 8 – Choose your proof of delivery

As a customer of Systematic you will have access to multiple POD options, we offer Online POD, Mobile POD, Scanned image POD, GPS Photo POD and original hard copy POD.
